Therapy Approaches

Cognitive Behavior

According to the American Psychological Association CBT is learning to recognize one's distortions in thinking that are creating problems, and then to reevaluate them in light of reality. Gaining a better understanding of the behavior and motivation of others.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy can help identify the psychological root causes of one’s condition so a person can function better and have enhanced emotional well-being and healing.

Solution Focused

Solution Focused Brief therapy is solution focused rather than problem solving. Individuals are encouraged to focus on a solution and goals for the future.

Person Centered

Person Centered therapy is talk therapy where the individual does most of the talking. With Person Centered Therapy the emphasis is on empathy, congruency, unconditional positive regard.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
